Infrastructure

Overview

A striking feature of this institution is well-planned and comprehensive infrastructure provided to the students and faculty. We are comprised with spacious Lecture halls, separate floors for different disciplines, well equipped with air conditioned Computer and Digital Lab utilized by all the departments with respect to their own specifications. The college provides with modern conference, seminar halls and Digital Library. The students are facilitated with smart classrooms, LCD projector and well comfort seating arrangements.

Smart Classrooms

The students are provided with Smart Classrooms to conduct Seminars, Lectures, Project reviews and other curricula activities with respect to their discipline.

Laboratory

Computer Labs

In Faculty of Humanities and Science Faculty, non-teaching staffs and Students from BSc[Computer Science], BCA, B.Com[CA] have access to the computer labs and allowed with lab coat, which provide the tools and technologies to  produce websites, edit papers, complete class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses and access library resources. Microsoft Windows software is available for word processing, statistics, spread sheets and database management. A variety of graphics and website-creation software programs are also available.

Auditorium

The auditorium, with acoustic system and over 300 seating capacity. Regular venue for conferences, workshops and seminars, this auditorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process.

Library

The Information Resource Centre of the college is housed in a spacious building which provides a congenial atmosphere for quiet reading. The large number of books, journals and magazines available here, provide sufficient reading material on all subjects.

Automation

The library service is automated through using standard library software package called “AUTOLIB”. The automated Library services and the OPAC provide quick access to the information.

OPAC

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) provides service to the user can browse and retrieve the information through intranet.

Reprography

The library has Internet browsing section with 10 systems for net surfing with the support of Fiber net connectivity and uninterrupted power supply.

The central library with around 4361 books for UG and PG programmes, National & International Journals which caters the needs of the respective students

As to justify with the quote, the campus has an enormous open ground for bringing more athletes and we have courts for Badminton, Shuttle, Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Mini Football ground.

Medical Facilities

We have a good concern on our students’ health and so we are here with Doctors (Guest) available during the college hours. Health camps and awareness programs with the respect to women are held tentatively.
A proper Sanitation facility is provided to the students and necessary safety measures are placed.

Fitness Center

To mould women in both mentally and physically strong, fitness plays a vital role and hence we have a fitness center with all facilities.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of 11th & 12th Class of schools at +2 Board level and student youth of Technical Institution, Graduate & Post Graduate at colleges and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes.
